Ingredients
- All Purpose Flour – 4 cups
- Ghee / Oil – 3 tbsp + for frying
- Warm Water – 1 3/4 Cup
- Salt
Makes : 24 – 26
Method
1. Take the flour in a large bowl, add salt and oil , mix well with fingertips or spatula.
2. Add a little water at a time to make a soft, smooth dough. If you feel the dough is not sticking to your palm, then its ready.
3. Cover with moist cloth and allow the dough to rest for about 1/2 an hour.
4. After 1/2 an hour knead the dough again and divide it to small balls (approx 1 inch diameter).
5. Dust in some flour and roll them into 4 inch round disc.
6. Deep fry , when puffs up , turn it.
7. Serve hot with Dum aloo or Chholar dal.
