Ingredients
- Wheat Flour – 1 1/2 cup
- Oil / Ghee – 2 tsp + for frying
- Salt , to taste
- Potato , boiled – 1 lb
- Roasted Cumin Powder – 1 tsp
- Red chili powder – 1 tsp
- Cilantro , chopped – 3 tbsp
- Chaat masala – 1 tsp (optional)
Method
1. Peel and mash the boiled potatoes.
2. Add cumin powder, red chili powder and chopped cilantro, mix well. Break the lumps, if any.
3. Add oil and flours to the mashed potato and make a soft dough. Cover and let it sit for 30 min.
4. Divide it to equal lemon size balls.
5. Roll it into a circle of about 6 inch.
6. Now heat a tava, once hot, place the rolled dough. Turn it over when one side is done. Add a dab of oil or ghee on top and cook both sides.
